I often act as an inspiring lecturer at seminars, congresses and company events. We provide our lectures in Dutch, English and French.

You can experience some speeches here. (Dutch spoken, but you’ll get at least a feeling).

We also provide internal training programs, both practical masterclasses (short teaching moments, 1 day) and longer development programs (programs consisting of several modules).

Below you can find some examples of lectures and training programs which we provide.

Examples of lectures:

• The frog and the ocean: lecture on the importance of emotion in a world of knowledge. Based upon our book “de Kikker en de Oceaan” (translated: the Frog and the Ocean). Visit also our website www.dekikkerendeoceaan.be
• The trusted advisor: lecture on the development of trust in professional situations (co-workers, suppliers, customers). Mainly based on the work of David Maister, author of the book “The trusted advisor”.
• Primus inter pares: lecture on the particularities of leading equally skilled or educated people, which is typical in a knowledge workers environment.
• CEO Da Vinci: how would Leonardo Da Vinci apply his many talents if he was a Chief Executive Officer or a manager? Based upon the book “How to think like Leonardo Da Vinci” of Michael Gelb we seek for inspiration to improve our management skills.
• With a little help from my friends: lecture about the importance of cross-fertilising with colleague’s, suppliers and customers to improve creativity and develop innovation. How do you develop a trustworthy and strong co-operation with others to generate new ideas, products and services.

Examples of training programs

• Creative thinking with Leonardo Da Vinci: Masterclass on creativity based upon the book “How to think like Leonardo Da Vinci” of Michael Gelb.

• Balanced communication: Masterclass on how to communicate, discuss and debate in a way that combines both the value of objectivity and the importance of subjective feelings and opinions.

• Structured problem solving: In this masterclass we teach you the methods we use ourselves as advisors to help unravel complex questions that our Clients have. We offer you insight in several models and problem solving techniques.

• Presenting with Little Red Riding Hood: We lecture, we speech, using stories, metaphors, images. In this Masterclass we teach you the ABC of presenting for a public and we help you develop storylines and inspiring metaphors.

• To boldy go where no man has gone before (leadership program): We all know this famous sentence of the opening sequence in the television show Star Trek. It is our title for a training program on leadership. It consists out of 7 modules and teaches managers on how to support and lead their team to excel beyond their limits.

• Mad about you (innovation management program): This training program consisting of 7 modules covers innovation management. How to set up a climate that fosters innovation? How to develop creativity? How to evaluate unbelievable, crazy ideas without killing them prematurely?
